Primary purpose of current/most recent position:

My duties include managing of 32 staff including 2 supervisors, managing the pickers and supervisors on daily operations, managing and interpreting the perpetual inventory as well as stock counts, adhering administration and clerical duties, filing documents and reports daily and ensuring that the correct stock and right quantities of stock leave the warehouse. I am proficient on SAP and MS Excel advance.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities of ideal position:

Compile daily picking statistics, staff attendance/trend register and compile a list of daily picking errors to update team and the manager using Microsoft Excel and SAP. Manage 32 staff including 2 Supervisors. Release daily orders using SAP system. Keep record of orders on SAP System. Check emergency orders and complete the wave item clearing tasks. Manage the pickers and supervisors on daily operations and report to the line manager about daily problems. Responsible for all outbound duties in a rotational basis (picking, replenishment and checking), to prevent communication barriers in all warehouse departments. Assist in the inventory department when the manager is off or on leave, which involves the following: manage and interpret the perpetual inventory, as well as stock counts. Ensure that customer orders and jabs are pilled daily and that the order is well maintained with no order in excess of two days. Ensuring that all replenishments are done and ensure that manual replenishments are executed for jabs and large orders. Ensure that picking prioritize for cuts offs and that picking stats are monitored to ensure that productivity and accuracy target are met. E.g. dayshift picking prioritize coastal orders and nightshift picking prioritize local orders. Analyze picking data and communicate with supervisors about results and tack corrective action when there is a need. Ensure that picking supervisorïs sign off discrepancies and that picking aisles are neat and product integrity is met. Ensure that checking staff maintain a high standard of accuracy during checking process. Ensure that stock is packed in the correct size of boxes and is correctly sealed and labeled correctly. Ensure that all goods dispatched are accompanied by a content list or labels are correct in all manners. Approve the reprinting of invoices when required. Ensure that checking stats related to accuracy and productivity is maintained and weekly meetings are organized to review results. Ensure that all stock leaving area is scanned and all discrepancies are solved. Coming up with ideas and strategies of meeting the deadlines and targets set by senior management. Administration and clerical duties, filling documents and reports daily, authorizing annual and sick leaves in the absence of my senior manager for my subordinates. Compiling daily stats and signing registers and time sheets for our contract employees daily. Checking and inventory manager in order processing, order releasing, checking and dispatching out of the warehouse. Make sure every area in the warehouse is kept clean and housekeeping is done properly on a daily basis. Sign time sheets and registers of all cleaners. Draw up a monthly schedule for all cleaners rotate on a weekly basis for the cleaning duties.

1year and 8months experience of working in a pharmaceutical warehouse. First 6 months it was a rotation from inbound, inventory and outbound. Then I was placed in outbound until now.
