Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
ADU Tutor, Wits University For the role above my primary purpose is to make sure that students in my tutorials are understanding the theory and problems presented to them in first year Engineering Chemistry. Process Engineer, LafargeHolcim Cement Responsible for increasing plant stability, improving throughput and optimization of equipment performance for the cement production plant.
Core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order to achieve primary purpose:
LafargeHolcim Cement 1.Addressing of production and process bottlenecks for a better output, a greater plant stability and environmental compliance. 2.Conduct production process studies and audits which I deemed necessary or which was requested by line management for monitoring of parameters related to plant operations. 3.Grinding media, grinding aid and liner performance evaluation , optimization and monitoring. 4.Cement mill charging and process / production activities during weekly and annual cement plant and dryer shutdowns. 5.Carrying air flow measurements, assessment and requirements in the cement, drying and packing plants.
