Primary purpose of current/most recent position:

Duties and Responsibilities Doing monthly reports on costing analysis and variances on stock and transport costs and operational costs. ïCreating templates for costing analysis and transport and operations costing. ïContribute to the development of business strategy and provide feedback. ïCorrelate with admin manager on monthly operational costs. ïUphold and execute the financial objectives of the business operations. ïGive and provide feedback on projects and advise on cost savings initiatives. ïOversee and ensure that all goods received functions operational for all incoming raw materials, and receipting of non-stock orders; ïManaged and oversee that all physical security of all the raw materials store, the racking and storage therein and the identification/tagging of all items in this raw materials store is executed; ïImplement and oversee and ensure that cycle counts are periodically performed daily on all items in the raw material store, and that a full 100% count of the raw material store is conducted at least twice a year; ïMaking sure that accounting records accurately reflect the true value of inventory to within 98% accuracy by implementing various initiatives to improve accuracies. ïManaging and responsible for the physical slow moving raw material store are identified , as well as lead the team to set up to manage the identification and disposal of items in the raw material slow moving store; ïManage stock control systems and ensure controls are in place to reduce losses. ïManage and ensures that all non -stock, spares and capex purchases are in line with the approval matrix mandate for the company ïManage and create and implement a monthly raw material procurement plan for the company in line with business approved objectives. ïThis plan must take into account raw material requirements based on forecasted sales going forward, lead times, current stock on hand and on the water and cash-flow constraints; ïMaking sure that that the stock ordering system lead time is optimized as per service provider , and takes into account turn - around time as per SLA , pre- payment on orders, manufacturing time, shipping time and clearance and delivery time are executed. ïEnsure and managing the systems and procedures in place for the full purchasing cycle i.e. from determination of purchasing requirements, approval thereof, placement of order, foreign exchange cover where appropriate and receipt of raw materials; ïManage and control the non-stock purchasing system in line with the approval matrix for the company ïManage and uphold the relationships with the internal and external logistics service providers and ensure annual Service Level Agreements are in place for all the logistics providers; ïConstantly monitor and evaluate the pricing and service levels of the logistics providers on regular basis against and industry norms, and manage any issues arising from this directly with the service providers. ïConstantly interact with customers regarding service level with third party service providers as well as logistics norms. ïCreate and uphold inbound logistics SOP and procedures. ïContinuously investigate more cost and service efficient supply chain options. ïEnsure quality control of inbound products and effectively identify subpar products
