Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
Procuring of all products, spares, parts and services for four business units (BU) of Tiger Brands Culinary Manufacturing Plants. Ensuring that the goods or services procured meet the required quality, delivery terms and at the best minimum cost. Ensuring that delivery schedules of all goods and services are adhere to and are delivered at the promised date and time to the correct location. Through expediting daily, weekly and monthly expediting of open purchase orders. Negotiating with suppliers to ensure that I bring more cost savings to the company on all products and services. Strive to receive at least three quotes minimum, to ensure that the company get the best price in the market. Maintaining strong supplier relationship to assure continuity of supply and maximum profitability of the organisation. Ensuring that suppliers receive payment on time and obtaining discounts by utilising the P2P (Procurement to Pay) process effectively. Prepare audit reports on request by auditors.
