Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
Responsible for Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations of Production output, Product quality and On-Time Shipping as well as implementing significant continuous improvement activities.. Develop and implement a comprehensive Scheduled Preventative Maintenance Programme. Ensure safety and efficiency of the Plant, Implement and Monitor Safety Procedures Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff. Control costs to achieve company budget goals. Liaising with the marketing and design teams regarding the development of new products. Recommending short and long term Plant objectives.

1. Meet the market production capacity in a timely way while ensuring the quality of the products is up to the set standards. 2. Minimise breakdowns in the production system while at the same time ensure timely, minimum time to attend to any emergency breakdown. This assists in ensuring the maximum OEM efficiency is maintained through out the year 3. Continously reduce the cost of production by through audit of resources including the machines and personnel.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities of ideal position:
1. Maintenance planning, implementation of preventive maintenance schedules and periodic report generation for the management. 2. Production monitoring and participate in production planning with the management. Allocation of priority depending on market need. 3. Ensure general HSSE policies were followed during operations and to ensure product quality is adhered to during production. 4. Perform preventive maintenance on the machine, ensure emergency spare parts are acquired from external supplier and monitor the spare parts issuing. 5. Ensure all the technical team is well trained on emerging issues, machine updates and general plant safety procedures. 6. Ensure availability of auxiliary services such as generators, compressors and monitor their frequent servicing procedures. The plant solely depended on generators and had no external electricity supply. 7. Periodic report generation on the production trends, breakdowns, spare parts and maintenance plans to the management for proper decision. 8. Liaise with the sales and operation team to ensure the required product change is done in the machine
Skill area of competence:
Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Experienced in developing maintenance schedules and repairing projects in equipment involved. Also work plan in the engineering team. Project Management: Skilled in strategy planning, approving factory project plans, implementing projects, monitoring and evaluating the processes involved to identify deficiencies, analysing risks involved that can affect deliverables and meeting deadlines managing teams as well as documenting the activities through reports to ensure successful project delivery. Inventory: Competent in identifying suppliers, obtaining equipment, materials, or supplies so as to attain necessary resources. Decision making skills: Competent in selecting and using basic tools and instruments to assemble, adjust, calibrate, repair or test various products. Information Systems: Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office, email and internet. I have experience in handling the following Plc programming, AutoCAD design and interpretation.
