Key responsibilities and accountabilities of ideal position:
Procurement of all company's plant and machinery. Liaise with senior directors, to improve our current operations in terms of maintenace and machinery. Examine and drive the maintenace system and oil analysis programs. Enforce systems. Support and train the client. Develop, store and issue: Inspection check lists, scheduled maintanance intervals, oil schedules for sites, oil standards on site. Discuss all substandard performances with all site personel for them to understand the full importance of machine availabillities and the impact on production losses which can result in penalties from our clients. Complete machine evaluations Inspect site systems and effect improvements All related warranty claims
Skill area of competence:
Mining; Underground coal machinery, AM80 Voest / Joy 15HM30 / Joy shuttle cars / Sandvik TwinBoom Roofbolter & LP Eimco Load Haul Dumpers and the maintenance thereoff Filtration; Filtration systems on all surface and underground machinery / Off line filtration units, All plant equipment I.E gearbox breathers / bulk tank filtration from tanker to underground I.E Kidney loop systems. All maintenance schedules, component life expectancy's according Aveng Mining standards.
Career summary:
Completed my trade with Highveld steel and worked for the hydraulic department in the mill. I then left South Africa and settled in Aucland New Zealand where I was employed as a Fitter & Turner As a key accounts manager for PALL Corporation I was given the opportunity to lead a very successful team of sales engineers in the Paper & pulp industry, Steel, and mining. I left PALL South Africa and joined PALL in Australia where I was involved with setting up the mining sector and inprove sales. Currently employed with Aveng Mining Shafts & Underground.
