I was appointed by the company to my current position to be the author of the business management system for the new Energy Performance certification department and there after to run and manage the department. The overall purpose of the position is to successfully manage and run the operation of the department to ensure profitability of the department.

The operations of the department must conform to the regulations they fall under. The assessments must be accurate and must be done timeously. My team must perform the assessments with thoroughness and efficiency. I ensure that this happens.
Client liaison is crucial and delicate and has to be carried out professionally to ensure client confidence - I ensure my department is giving the client what it needs.
