Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
Outbound,transportation planning of products to be distributed and delivered from plants to customers. To basically ensure that the materals/products customer ordered are available first at the plants, if available arrange with selected transporter for the type of commodity. Communicate and submit relevant documents to plants and transporter to collect. Call transporter to track the estimated arrival time of the load and inform client.
Core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order to achieve primary purpose:
1.Customer places order with marketing team 2.Marketing places order on SAP system for logistics to start outbound process 3. Check and verify if order is clean, has no blocks like credit or stock unavailability 4.24 hours timeline between order placement and order arrival, contact transporter to check if they can meet it 5. Prepare documents send to plant and transporter, once order is confirmed on system, two systems merge to allow for transporter to confirm service...confirm time of collection at the plants and always update movement of the order
