Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
Develop and implement a Convenience Retail plan that will deliver value and growth.
-Review the Convenience Retail supplier base and undertake supplier negotiations to achieve favourable cost of goods sold.
-Build a network to ensure efficient supply chain for the supply of goods to the sites
-Create a framework to generate revenue from suppliers through dedicated commercial activities.
-Ensure competitive retail pricing to maximise profitability.
-Efficiently optimise store space and create macro space models to enhance shopping to improve sales productivity and stock turn.
-Collaborate with suppliers to create most effective micro space plans to improve sales productivity and maximise supplier income.
-Negotiate terms with suppliers and build joint business plans for mutual benefit
-Ensure the right level of local flexibility in ranging.
-Assist in the training and development of the CR team to appreciate shopper, retailer and supplier needs.
-Drive retail excellence by deploying best practice in all aspects
-Collaborate with the marketing team to run shopper centric marketing activities to attract, retain and delight customers
