Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
Business Support Manager role is similar to jack of all trades, my main objective is to support the business in aspects of sales, marketing, office administration and management, purchasing, logistics and IT. My skill sets are vast and I could plug into any area that required assistance but daily tasks included managing sales admin, office management, marketing, logistics (fleet), all purchasing (excluding manufacturing raw materials), Document Control, facilities maintenance, IT Support, budgets and departmental financial reporting.
Core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order to achieve primary purpose:
Data Volume and Accuracy and is the most important as any data can be extracted to produce the foundation data for information packs to manage all departments. CRM, Sales, inventory, financial data are crucial for management to make decisions on what is required to grow the business and to make vital financial decisions.
Knowledge of all departments and how they integrate within the business as a whole and their core functions as a department and the integration to other departments. This ensures you go to the right source when you require input.
Communication within the business as whole but from direct management is essential.
System and Management Support as without this you are a chicken without a head.

A seasoned and proficient Business Administrative Support Manager with 27 years experience across diverse industries including, distribution, manufacturing (engineering), IT and telecommunications. Highly skilled in ISO 9001, database management, project management, staff management, preparation of management and operational reports and overall operations management. Extensive business acumen spanning across IT, sales, finance, logistics and business administration. A technically astute individual who empowers her team in order to achieve company objectives by concentrating on core business building with excellent relationships based on integrity and trust.

Business Support Manager which encompasses the following positions : Sales Administration Manager, Office Manager, Administration Manager, Facilities Manager.

If the title Jack of all trades was a job that would be me. I thrive on learning new things and fixing problems or problem areas and in saying that I am ideally a solutions provider or analyse a problem area and making it a workable solution. Once this task is working and becomes a mundane task I then hand it back to the intended users and create a system or process which has allowed the user to work smarter and not harder. Most of the time divisions within a company tend to do some of the same jobs so understanding the whole business can create a less work for some individuals as others are already doing it.

My valued skill for any business is my IT knowledge and business acumen and using both of these areas of expertise in problem solving processes and problem areas within a business. My valued add is being able to communicate to IT what the business needs are and intern assisting business to work smarter not harder. Looking at a business from a holistic point of view changes the way a solution works.

Solving problems that can make the business run smoother and in so managing projects that work towards this goal. i enjoy being creative and team building. I also have a passion to grow and develop my staff and training them into new areas of work so they can also develop. This works in line with the fixing of an area and then training new people to take the task over so i can help and fix another area.

I would like to work for a company that values its greatest asset - its staff. A company that incorporates all the staff and values each ones contribution, from the cleaner to the MD. A company that has a set of ethical and moral values and stands by them, one that is financially stable and is growing.
