Primary purpose of current/most recent position:

Finance & Payroll Manager overseeing full finance operations across multiple entities, including debtors, creditors, FA, treasury, stock control, and payroll, ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and labour regulations. Lead reconciliations of BS & IS GL accs, IC accounts, and statutory submissions, driving transparency and audit readiness. Manage debtor and creditor processes across local and foreign currencies, improving cash flow and reducing overdue accounts. Prepare and present budgets, cash flow, trial balance, and variance analyses to executives, supporting strategic decisions. Supervise and mentor staff, embedding accountability and building high-performing teams. Implement process improvements in SAP, and payroll systems, enhancing automation, reporting accuracy, and internal controls. Forecast financial performance, develop long-term strategies, & manage annual budgets. Oversee payroll for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cycles, ensuring statutory submissions (EMP201, EMP501, IRP5, UIF, WCA) are accurate and timely. Authorize payments, maintain payroll records, resolve complex queries, and provide HR/government reports. Successfully set up new companies on payroll systems, strengthen governance & compliance & CI.
