1. I was head hunted by OEM for a Key Account Management role.
2. I turned around the relationship with a key customer and secured $20 million in orders from that customer in a single fiscal year. This customer had not placed a single order with OEM in the preceding 2 years.
3. I utilized lean principles on a turbine upgrade project at Kriel power station to reduce waste, improve operational efficiency and complete the project on time and with a 2% increase in the project gross margin. When I took over the project from the last project manager, the project was 8 days behind schedule.
4. I completed a $22 million decarbonization project to reduce NOx emissions from 2 gas turbines at Sasol Secunda on time and within budget. I achieved a perfect 5/5 score on the customer satisfaction survey for GT1 and a 4/5 score on the customer survey for GT2
5. I led a team of 4 projects managers to execute a portfolio of projects in Sub-Saharan Africa valued at $176 million. I achieved on time delivery for 81% of the projects in the portfolio.
6. I tendered, negotiated and closed a deal with Kendal power station for the supply of a new generator rotor valued at ~$5 million.
