Primary purpose of current/most recent position:

As project manager, I was responsible for the planning, feasibility study, environmental assessments, stakeholder engagement, social investment, and overall engineering and technical integration of a large-scale bulk raw water infrastructure project valued at approximately R27 billion (US$ 1.5 billion) in Limpopo Province. I led the negotiation of the first phase’s R4.7 billion lump-sum turnkey (EPC) contract, which involves the construction of a bulk raw water pipeline over 100 km and three new water pump stations, slated to begin in 2025. Additionally, I established the project management team to oversee the execution and construction of the subsequent phase. The primary objective was to secure funding and demonstrate to the lenders' advisors that the project was financially viable.

To summarize, I needed to manage internal and external teams, engage with all project stakeholders, delegate initiatives, and ensure compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.

Ability to provide advisory, technical expertise and management across the value chain of a power generation, oil&gas and water infrastructure projects.

I have knowledge in financial models / indicators for project development and financial close.

I will be responsible and accountable for all technical and project advancements in the company. I will give project and/or technical direction, make strategic decisions, and steer the company’s project expansion and development pipelines, safely and profitably.

Programme Management skill to manage multiple parallel activities and concurrent projects from cradle to grave, through the project lifecycle (feasibility to commissioning)

Project Controls, including Cost estimation, cost control and cost reporting and all PMO/PMC office functions.
Business management of small to medium sized own businesses, in partnerships and private companies
