Key responsibilities and accountabilities of ideal position:
• Audits the drilling contractor’s files and perform safety audits on drilling sites to promote compliance to recommended practices for project management and exploration plan.
• Builds and maintains the robust and complex digital 3D geological block models of lithologies, structures and alterations, and identify further exploration localities for better geological interpretation of the ore body.
• Compiles a monthly drilling summary report comprising of drilled meters, meters logged, reef intersections sampled, assay grade results, QA/QC status, deviations, authorised boreholes, etc.) and present to senior management during technical, financial and strategic reviews.
• Develops and executes the exploration strategy and ensures is aligned with business objectives (i.e. standards, governance, and timelines).
• Ensures that data inputs and model outputs for Quality Assurance and Quality Control through core and chip logging, sampling, assaying and other related QA/QC practices are validated and available to Geo-data for estimation purposes.
• Interprets and models geoscientific data to define the physical location, size, geometry and characterisation of the ore body.
• Manages all information related to the resource- ensuring assays, composites for borehole grade, densities, and related information are accurate and validated.
