Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
• Manage warehouse team to ensure productivity (meetings, training, discipline, performance management)
• Assist with strategic plans and reviews to achieve operational objectives.
• Plan, oversee and monitor the receipt, packaging, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure efficient and effective planning and packing of export goods (Frozen fruit).
• Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with automated system utilizing help the warehouse teams.
• Implement daily stock checks and initiate quarterly wall to wall stock counts.
• Manage annual stock takes across all Euroberry & Frut warehouses.
• Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods out.
• Manage processes to ensure minimum stock variances and discrepancies.
• Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements.
• Promote and communicates the effective, efficient, economical, and transparent use of financial and other resources.
• Monitors and controls expenditure against budget and ensure spending occurs within budgetary limits and company financial guidelines, report deviations to Managing Director
