My roll is two fold:

Development of processing constraints to allow for mine planning. Development of business cases for projects to move through the various design phases.

Detailed engineering for an execution project at the base metals refinery. The project is for the installation of a high pressure autoclave for the leaching sulphides.

Understanding how to get the best out of people.
Understanding the detail of a new process/technology/technique. An example is I do not weld but vessel fabrication in fascinating.

Ideal company (culture and values):

I would prefer to work for an owners team (if possible) as it allows the engineers to direct the project.
If not it would be exciting to work in an EPCM and become a professional engineer.

Culturally, I prefer companies that have teams working closely together. I want to get to know my team and enjoy their company.
