Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
To play an active role in the replacements of the two Steam Generators at Nuclear Power Station.
Recruiting a team that will be able to perform on this project and meet the specific objectives within the specified time, safety and financial limitations.
Adjacent to the above, prepare a project to do on site machining for Vessels of the Mining Company Diamond division. This involved the full project of machining a mounting platform for the two new Thrusters that will be installed by De Beers' Installation Contractor.
For the Nuclear Project I received a Special Award from the Nuclear Project Manager "in recognition of a contribution of exceptional value to "Power Utility" in recognizing "Exemplary Management and Leadership"
Core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order to achieve primary purpose:
Understand the customer's needs.
Decide on the operation plan and equipment to be used.
Present a budget and work schedule.
Recruit teams that would attend to the work 24 hours per day. Get them trained for Nuclear Fitness For Duty
Manage any deviation from the desired output as there were many external factors.
Daily feedback to the Main Contactor.
Obtain signed off log sheets and claim compensation events in line with NEC3 Contract.
Ensure that there were NO safety incidents.
Handover and invoicing for the work done.
