I am seasoned COO and Project Manager, with proven local and international experience who's able to make an immediate contribution to your company.
I have several years proven experience as a COO within the Reunert Group in a large-scale manufacturing environment as well as managing large scale defence and transport projects. I am able to travel nationally and internationally and also able to work irregular hours (weekends and public holidays).

Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
Responsible to drive the defence business strategically and manage its day to day administrative and operational aspects of the business. I lead the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Safety and Facilities domains of Fuchs Electronics to achieve business objectives.
Core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order to achieve primary purpose:
Strategically developing and implementing a profitable strategy by deploying organisational assets and capital in the most effective manner.
• Managing working capital, to increase profitability and shareholder value.

Establishing and maintaining company-wide systems, knowledge bases and training systems to deliver on the company’s performance and growth objectives.
• Setting up of clear and measurable overall performance metrics for the operations that encompass its day-to-day running, production of products, identifying and evaluating process improvements. Am responsible decision making on critical elements affecting operations and the long-term sustainability of the business and the approximately 500-staff that contributes towards its success.

Monitor, analyse and report to Group Directors all operational aspects of the business.

Prepared long term plans that delivered the strategic plan and resulted in continuous improvement.

Recruit, train, develop, reward and recognise personnel to achieve targeted strategies and goals. Facilitating the drafting, reviewing, and implementation of all organisational policies and procedures towards ensuring efficiency, order and role clarity.

Compile annual budget for all my functional areas and monitor expenditure against plan and report on variance.
