Key responsibilities and accountabilities of ideal position:
Collaborate with managers and supervisors to assist in developing safety procedures for their areas.
Liaise with Security Management in respect of compliance with the Security Risk Policy, and physical security, risk, events, and other matters of escalation.
Ensure effective engagement with the Department of Labor and ensure compliance with the Department of Labor by providing documentation timeously.
Report on Occupational, Health & Safety related activities.
Track and report on the status of actions following SHE audit findings and critical control deviations.
Ensure that a SHE data management and reporting process are in place.
Keeps abreast of all current and pending legislation pertaining to Occupational Health and safety and related legislations, by-laws, and regulations, as well as the relevant Business Policies, and responds to changes proactively and appropriately.
