Introduction:
I received my degree in HR in 2003 at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, where after I moved to the United Kingdom. I moved back to South Africa with my husband and two children in 2015 and now work as a Sub Agent for Enshrine Placements.
I have a strong interest in recruitment; I am a very social person and therefore enjoy working with and meeting new people.

What is the primary purpose of this position?
To attract candidates and matching them to temporary or permanent positions with client companies. To work with client companies, building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements.
To network & do headhunting. To screen candidates, interview them, do background checks and finally match them to clients.
Consultants also provide advice to both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements and career opportunities.
What are the core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order for you to achieve your primary purpose?
Recruitment consultants provide a vital link between clients and candidates.
Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, plus their work culture and environment.
Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work.
Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client’s vacancy.
Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client.
Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client.
Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question.
Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants.
Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client.
Informing candidates about the results of their interviews.
What are some of your greatest achievements (When and how have you saved your employers time, money and resources)?
To manage placements of the technical design analyst. I re-created their SharePoint and skills matrix to ensure that all TDA’s are fully utilised at all times. Due to the fact that they were virtual engineers it was more effective to track their whereabouts and workload that way.
If you were to illuminate your skills and abilities along with your greater purpose and passions in life, how would you describe yourself?
I am a go-getter. I am eager to learn and that is how I reached my last position at Capita. I had no experience of IT, but was keen to learn. I am energetic and a peoples person. I like to meet new people and interaction with different personalities.

What are the key responsibilities and accountabilities of your ideal position?
Whilst the overall objective of a consultant is to meet the needs of both the client and the candidate by ensuring the best mutual fit, there is a lot more to the job.
