Our client currently has an opportunity for Technical Sales Representative to be responsible for the development of key accounts particularly in the Northern Cape, Free State and North West regions in conjunction with the established distributor network.
The successful incumbent will have 5 years’ experience in a similar position and be prepared to travel and spend time away from home.
To increase company’s market share in specific assigned regions and to identify key accounts and expand business to these customers.
To prepare and submit tender documents / quotations for customer or project proposals.
To ensure that specific, predetermined sales objectives are met on a monthly basis.
To provide overall technical support to the complete range of products.
To develop alternative markets through modifications and improvements on both existing and new products.
Monitor and control distributor regions as assigned in distributor agreements.
Utilise EAFM business tools such as Catalyst and CRM to improve market coverage.
Travel planning into Africa (where applicable as and when required).

Job Qualification & Experience:
Technical and/ or commercial qualification
Proven technical sales track record
Mining, transportation and agricultural knowledge will be advantageous
Experience in the mining industry would also be beneficial
Relevant experience of more than 5 years
Excellent communication skills
Work independently and remotely
