Position details:

Type: Month to month contract
Reports to: After Market Spares Manager
The primary functions of this role are as follows:
Verify scope of client request and submit quotation timeously.
Follow up with clients on status of quotations and pending orders.
The contract management of spares orders which involves verifying pricing, capturing orders on the in-house Contrax system.
Placing orders on sub suppliers.
Expediting all purchase orders ensuring that the suppliers meet obligations relating delivery date and scope of supply.
Ensuring quality of supplied components adheres to company standards.
Managing the progress of your specific contract.
Maintaining communication with client.
Managing all contract related commercial obligations, costing, cash flow and invoicing.
Manage equipment packaging.
Coordinate equipment shipping / transportation.
The role involves the processing of a high-volume quotations, contracts and client communication.

Job Qualification & Experience:

Required skill set:
A minimum of 5 years work experience is required, preferably with previous exposure to a sales office and mining industry and contract management.
The candidate must be able to and willing to work under pressure when required.
Need to have a methodical approach and a high degree of organizational skills.
An advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
It is essential to possess good interpersonal and project management skills as Interaction with all operating sections within the company is essential.
Will be required to be self-motivated and a self-starter.
Will be required to have a basic technical aptitude, preferably in the Mining or Engineering Industries.
Will be required to understand and identify commercial and contractual risks associated around the compilation of quotations and purchase orders.
This role dictates that the candidate is a detail orientated person as accuracy and precision of the required outputs are key result areas
Will be required to possess excellent time management skills as the meeting of deadlines is an imperative key result area.
Will be required to learn about the company’s market and successfully interact with key individuals.
Will be required to have a valid driver’s license and own transport.

Timeous submission of quotations.
Timeous interaction and support of clients.
Accuracy of information captured on Contrax system.
Accuracy associated with the management of individual contacts.

Company Description:

Our client is an equipment supply company focusing predominantly on the gold recovery processes. The predominant unit processes are Gold Leaching, Carbon Adsorption and Elution. Their equipment suite incorporates Mechanical Agitators, Pumping and Non-Pumping, Interstage Screens, Pumpcell Circuits, Carbon Regeneration Kilns and Electrowinning Cells.
