Are you a Chemical, Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineer with process engineering experience, wanting to move into sales?

Or, are you a Sales Engineer well-versed in the sale of liquid solid separation equipment / thickeners?

Position details:

Type: Permanent
Reports to: Head of Sales Department
Primary purpose: Client liaison, assess enquiry documents, calculate cost estimates and present good quality tenders to ensure that business opportunities are maximised in conjunction with the Sales Director and company QMS.

Job description / core competencies:

Includes, but not limited to:
Product sales across the current (and future) product range.
New market development in collaboration with the sales team.
Maintaining sales forecast and resource planning data.
Client liaison and management.
Preparation and submission of equipment proposals and tenders.
Cost estimates based on factoring historical data for budget proposals and sub-supplier tenders for fixed and firm tenders.
Prepare enquiry documents to suppliers and technically and commercially evaluate sub supplier tenders.
Attend sales related site inspections.
Clarify all discrepancies with the client.
Follow-up tenders to conclusion.
Record tender feedback on network.
Support co-ordination and assistance with company marketing and sales related efforts.
Compile test work reports, process flowsheets and P&ID’s
Equipment sizing and selection.
Reporting and sales prospects.
Assist with equipment commissioning and optimization.
Equipment and company presentations to clients.
Directing laboratory and pilot plant test work.
Handover documentation preparation and presentation to the contracts department.
