Our client currently has an opportunity for a Sales Consultant to be responsible for all activities relating to the sales of isolation valve and pressure regulating valve equipment. This function is responsible for the creation and maintenance of sustainable relationships through planned customer visits, technical product and sales presentations, daily opportunity follow-up, thorough understanding of customer requirements and development of leads for service and repair opportunities through engagement with the company service departments.
Implement sales of isolation valve and pressure regulation solutions, products and services sales & business development initiatives in region.
Develop and implement plans for growth by displacement, technology upgrades and new product launches.
Meet or exceed territory financial objectives (budget, forecast, etc.) as required in support of the flow controls regional business plan.
Develop and implement sales and service strategies for the region.
Prepare and present marketing forecasts, pricing surveys, competitor intelligence and regional marketing plans.
Maintain & update CRM tool with opportunities, activities & sales plans.
Follow and execute the company sales process.
Collaborate with internal sales support & OEM personnel for engineering solutions.
Provide effective after-sales service to customers.
Plan, lead and execute site walk downs and capture information accurately.
Maintain accurate records regarding customer’s planned shutdowns / outages / turnarounds.
Develop long-term relationships within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of our solutions, products & services.
Improve customer satisfaction by finding solutions to their needs.
Keep up to date with developments in products, industry and market trends.

Job Qualification & Experience:
Grade 12 – maths & science
N3 with Process Instrumentation or Mechanical
N6 would be preferable
Industrial Trade Test in Instrumentation (advantageous)
Two years industry experience (preferred)
Process plant knowledge (advantageous)
Drivers licence required
