Job Description:

Our client, that is a leading automotive supplier worldwide, currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic Regional Sales Manager that possesses excellent sales and negotiation skills, has good business sense and can motivate and lead the team.

The successful incumbent will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and have 5 years’ experience in a similar work environment.

Job Description 

Market Entry Country

Conduct macro, micro and competitor analysis.

Conduct product and dealer census.

Assess and determine market entry approach and route to market.

Prospecting – Assessment of the market and identification of opportunities, identification of potential customers, qualifying of customers lead/prospect/qualified prospect and local/regional/national/global influences.

Market Entry Customer

Update company summary.

Confirmation of market data.

Conduct customer SWOT.

Establish KOG structure – Sales, establish and agree on organizational structure to support growth.

Establish and agree on brand, article, volume, price agreement.

Agree on marketing plan and contribution agreement.

Establish credit facility requirement and guarantees.

Agree on 5-year plan commitment.

Customer Creation / Maintenance

Formally establish a legal presence of customers within our system.

Update customer master data file.

Formalise agreement – Inco terms, rebates, brands, retail brands, segment scope and limitations – timing/conditions.

Formalise sales plan, targets and strategy.

Share of Account (SoA);

Share of Business (SoB).

Sales

Offer has been confirmed and accepted by the customers, and order placed (order form).

Align order confirmation to forecast accuracy – product, pricing, RoS, Financial and volume forecast in the system – by customer, country and consolidated for the region.

Updated sales and shipment monitor – YoY % growth by segment and brand.

Maintain quotation reference bank.

Set and conduct target and agreement quarterly evaluations.

Update customer and country visit reports in CRM.

Prepare and present Customer Tyre Management (CTM).

Customer Management

Establish marketing needs per customer.

Set sales activation plans.

Establish and update field service tracker.

Optimize credit terms offering.

Align customer purchase forecast with credit limits.

Sales Order and Documentation Management

Support internal execution of sales order and facilitating it with customer to COD to ensure timely receipt of orders without delay.

Assist and support daily sales monitoring with COD/Operations to trouble-shoot and resolve barriers.

Job Qualification & Experience:

 Educational Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma/B.Com)

Professional Requirements:

5 years relevant experience.

Understanding of sales, forecast, logistics processes.

Ability to manage projects.
