Our client currently has an opportunity for Product Support – Engine Air to provide core services such as training, warranty claim processing and technical backup/support to our customers (internal and external). Support the Product Manager – Air to grow the Engine Air product portfolio in Sub-Saharan Africa and maximize profitability.
The successful incumbent will hold a relevant technical trade/degree/diploma coupled with 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry.
Reports to: Product Manager
Develop technical training programs for the Engine Air product range for all customers.
Training material to cover:
– Good service practices.
– Basic engine air filtration.
– Intermediate engine air filtration.
– Advanced engine air filtration.
Engage with global colleagues to align and develop training materials.
Conduct product training of company staff and customers where necessary.
Conduct train the trainer sessions with Sales Team.
Assist company sales, customer service personnel and external customers with technical queries pertaining to product selection, fit, specifications and onsite trouble shooting as required.
Conduct site surveys and site testing in conjunction with the commercial team as per customer’s needs.
Warranty claim investigating and gathering of necessary information in order to compile comprehensive CCR documentation for processing by QA/QC personnel.
Participate in, and contribute to, overall department and product management strategy development and implementation.
Represent company at trade shows and industry events to promote product as required.
Participate in visits to distributors and end-users to gain first-hand experience and knowledge of the product and market environment.

Provide the highest level of technical backup & support to customers.
Sharing of skills and abilities within the entire Engine team.
Developing of effective engine air filtration training programs (external & internal) – facilitate training sessions.
Timeous and accurate processing of warranty claims.

Job Qualification & Experience:
Relevant technical trade/degree/diploma coupled with 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry.
Ability to diagnose equipment/vehicle filtration problems and offer solutions.
Passion for conducting technical training sessions and sharing knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Results driven and ambitious.
Computer skills: proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Powerpoint
