Job Description:

Job description / core competencies:
Operate computer-assisted maintenance software to perform engineering tasks.
Design, implement, maintain, or improve instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for the plant.
Sound working knowledge of control and instrumentation systems.
Direct maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and ensure compliance.
Coordinate training and development of team members.
Budgeting and cost control.
Key work outputs (results required):
Operational results: i.e. technical and financial targets.
SHERQ results: Safety, health, environmental, risk and quality systems.
Leadership and people results high level of leadership and career growth development orientation.
Management results: implementation of systems to achieve targets.
Customer and relationship results: e.g. relationships with peers, managers and customers.

Job Qualification & Experience:
Grade 12 (English and Numeracy)
Relevant B degree
5+ years related experience in maintenance and repair of processing plant equipment specifically mills, crushers and PGM Float Plants
GCC Mines and Works
Valid driver’s license code B, EB or C1
Must have own transport
Good general health and a certificate of fitness (Red Ticket)
