My client, based in the beautiful Cape Town, is looking for an enthusiastic, vibrant and professional Telesales & New Business Representative to contribute and generate additional sales for their company. Their wish is for you to grow and mould yourself within this organisation to eventually move into having more responsibilities

Position details:

Type: Permanent
Primary purpose:

You will be responsible for servicing existing customers, opening new accounts/stores, close sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships. Introducing & offering promotions and upselling new products to expand the company brand within stores.
An effective telesales representative must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills along with a great understanding of all the aspects involved to create sales. They must be comfortable and confident presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.
The goal is to help the company grow by expanding the client data base and developing business. The position has no area-based restrictions nor client/corporate group limitations, and thus the scope is huge within the borders of South Africa.

Job description / core competencies:
Sourcing & contacting potential new business as well as existing customers to inform them about products and requesting orders
Providing product knowledge to clients and assisting with client enquiries
Asking questions and covering a needs analysis to understand customer requirements in order to create and develop interest in the brand, able to identify & qualify potential sales leads and generate sales
Accountability for monthly target driven sales budgets
Administrative duties arranging quotes for couriers and shipping of orders
Enter and update customer information in the database
Take and process orders in an accurate manner
Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
‘Go the extra mile’ to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
Providing reliable and actionable data to support the telesales team to increase efficiency and productivity
Generating repeat business by promoting new offers to customers. Converting customer inquiries into sales opportunities
Surveying and follow through with customer satisfaction.
Commitment to budget & target forecasts
Taking ownership of duties, excellent time management and organisational skills, self-driven
