Job Description:
Our client currently has an opportunity for a Marketing and Sales Coordinator. The main function of the position is to support the Brand Managers with all sales and marketing related functions in line with the business requirements.
The successful incumbent will have Grade 12, Pastel/Sage computer literacy and 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Position details:

Primary purpose: Support the Brand Managers with all marketing & sales related functions in line with the business requirements.
Responsibilities:
General

Be Financially efficient and understand our accounting system and be proficient on excel
Interpersonal skills to deal with suppliers, customers and reps in a professional manner

Marketing and sales orientated experience and skills.
Negotiation skills
Outcome: Adding value to marketing/sales strategies
Sales
Support the Brand Managers with all sales related functions in line with the business requirements
Process all sales orders received from all customers on Pastel
Send Sales orders to warehouse for processing of order
Coordinate and resolve all sales related queries from customers and reps.
Compile monthly channel, rep, agent, and regional sales reports.
Manage Clicks and Dischem ClickView sales data and compile reports
On-Line sales eg Takealot
Effectiveness of timeous reporting
Customer feedback
Timeous processing of sales orders
Outcome: Timeous processing and resolving of sales queries/issues
Marketing
Support Brand Managers with Marketing functions.
Coordinate Marketing for our Digital strategies.
Liaise with our marketing partners to execute and manage our campaigns.
Compile monthly marketing effectiveness reports.
Coordinate marketing and campaigns with wholesalers, in store promotions, MLM
Coordinate and manage all marketing collateral & packaging
Effectiveness and timeous reporting
Outcome: Timeous execution and management of marketing strategies
Financial controls
Ensure accurate financial control measures are in place
Coordinate all marketing related expenses and compile and recon month end reports for payment
Coordinate all general office related expenses and compile and recon month end reports for payment.
Recon rep/agent sales/commissions for the month.
Recon Clawbacks
Accuracy of financial recons and reporting
Successfully solving of queries/problems with suppliers/agents
General office Management
Support the brand managers with all general assistant functions as required.
Assistant to Brand manager and Head of operations.
General office duties and all admin functions related to this.
Manage main telephone lines and general company email address
Contribution to be rated based on positive interaction and proactive problem-solving successful ideas
Outcome: Timeous execution of projects
