Job Description:

They integrate global technical resources for innovative R & D, own world-class R & D equipment & systems and are currently building a new R & D center in Baoding near Beijing where they plan to expand their current workforce of 1 300 by hiring skilled expatriates.

Position details:

Be part of the New Energy Automotive Powertrain R&D Team as Lead Engineer of eAD SW Development, responsible for:

Determining the functional requirements of eAD or EV SW
Communicating with the hydraulic and electrical controller suppliers
Analysing and reviewing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical control specifications
Developing hydraulic controller and gear synchronization, gear adaption reference to prevent gears from jumping out
Planning and executing simulation bench testing, reviewing the test results and solving problems identified
ACU SW integration from mule phase to SOP level

Compiling of function algorithm files

Preparation of calibration instructions

Testing SW features in newly developed SWs and the development of BSW electrical controls
Guidance and training employees and OJT to improve design ability
Building up the eAD groups capacity.

Job Qualification & Experience:

BEng/Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related disciplines.
Extensive experience (10 years plus) in –
Model-based design (e.g. Matlab/Simulink and Targetlink)
Developing EV/PHEV 2-speed gearboxes
Utilising calibration tools, such as CANape or INCA.
