Our client currently has an opportunity for a Key Accounts – Africa Export to develop the company’s African footprint through expanding their current markets and developing new opportunities within identified regions.
The KPAs are to:
Grow and maintain commercial export sales.
Formulating and negotiating supply agreements and tenders.
Co-ordinating the activities from order placement to final delivery.
Technical support & product development.
Travel planning into Africa.
Maintenance of existing customers, development and expansion of the distribution network throughout Sub Saharan Africa.
Effective and timeous response to queries, enquiries and travel.
Achievement of sales objectives and monthly sales reporting.
Identify valuable opportunities and initiatives and reporting back to the marketing department.
Conduct a marketing and competitor analysis.
Forecasting and inventory management.
Liaising with finance, logistics, marketing and technical functions on related issues.
Understanding of payment instruments, incoterms and export documentation.
Develop a pricing strategy by working hand in hand with product data.
Securing multi-national supply agreements.
Location (country, city): Johannesburg
Job Qualification & Experience:
Relevant commercial qualification.
Minimum of 2 years Africa export sales experience.
Travel requirement up to 30% into Africa.
Work independently and remotely when travelling into Africa.
Experience in the mining industry advantageous.
Knowledge of export documentation and process.
