As Internal sales Consultant your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient and effective quote and tender completion, processing of RFQ’s as per customer requirement. Assist and guide all customers by generating technically acceptable product solutions. Ensure that business objectives & standards are met.

Primary purpose: Responsible to ensure efficient and effective quote and tender completion Assist and guide all customers by generating technically acceptable product solutions. Expeditious processing of RFQ’s as per customer requirement, and that business objectives & standards are met.
Job description / core competencies:
Produce Technically acceptable Tenders and Proposals – Update and Utilise instrument/valve sizing and selection programmes to determine specific product solutions as per customers’ requirements, advise customers of possible alternative solutions.
Source quotations for product from local and overseas suppliers.
Generate Pricing schedule from updated price lists.
Have efficiency in the use of Quote tool and other software for costing purposes.
Check quote for technical accuracy and advise customer of any deviations from original RFQ.
Ensure On time submission of quotes – DTD (Document Type Definition) (non-proposal) 90% of quotes in 3 days.
Oversee Customer and Supplier queries within 2days – Response and Solutions.
Maintain and Improve Customer relationships.
Order turnaround in 2 days – Correct Order processing, Order Acknowledgements and Bill of material.
Update CRM System with Won & Lost orders.
Create server folder containing all relevant correspondence of each opportunity.
Assist Customer, Order processing and Project Execution with technical query resolution.
Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, assuring continuous quality improvement & safety awareness.

Job Qualification & Experience:
N3 preferably with Process Instrumentation, where N3 is a minimum requirement
N6 would be preferable
Industrial Trade Test in Instrumentation (advantageous)
2-3 years Industry related Internal Sales Experience – apply skills
Process Plant Knowledge (advantageous)
