Reports to: Product Manager
Primary purpose: The successful incumbent will be responsible for internal sales and handling of contracts for the manufacturing of Proprietary equipment.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
On-time management of quotes from receipt of enquiry to issuing of quotation related, but not limited to, all spares enquiries on Kilns and Electro Willing Cells.
The collation of information from the Engineering, Financial and Marketing departments, forming part of a specific quotation document.
Provide monthly feedback on quotes submitted and the status of the respective quotes.
Follow up and evaluation of unsuccessful quotations.
Verify scope of work and ensure quotation is provided to the client timeously.
Verify pricing and process all orders associated with the manufacturing and assembly of equipment on suppliers.
Process high volume of product orders.
Process fabricator orders where applicable.
Expedite all purchase orders, ensuring that the suppliers meet their obligation relating to the purchase orders contract delivery date, scope of supply and invoiced value.
Reporting to the Sales Managers important feedback from customers and/or fabricators.
Communication with Agents and Clients, e.g.: email communication and telephone calls.
Manage all commercial issues related to contracts, i.e. Costing, Contract cash-flows and Client invoicing.
Dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails.

Job Qualification & Experience:
Diploma (Marketing or Engineering)
Experience – 5 years plus
Computer Literacy: MS Excel, MS Word Outlook, etc.
Methodical worker with attention to detail.
Able to remain calm with the ability to work productively under pressure.
High organisational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time.
Ability to prioritise own workload.
Strong communication skills including a good telephone manner and the ability to communicate with people on all levels.
An administrative or sales background.
Added Advantages Considered:
Technical exposure to Mining and/or Electrical and/or Mechanical Disciplines.
Work knowledge of materials of construction.
Exposure to project costing and cash-flow management
Ability to read technical drawings
