Are you an experienced Integrated Logistic Support Manager that excels in both a commercial- and process-based role? Can you quickly switch between the needs of the customer and the internal departments of your company? Then you may be the ideal new ILS Manager for our client.
The ILS Manager has the overall management of the ILS project and ensures coordination with both the customer and vessel new build project management team; you are therefore the pivot between all involved departments. The ILS Manager leads his team and ensures the timely deliveries, required quality and integration of the various activities and products.
You will lead their mission to provide excellent services in the area of life cycle support. By engineering data received from our client’s equipment manufactures – using dedicated software – you and your team will assist in engineering the maintenance plan required. Your results are the backbone of the variety of services that will be implemented, e.g. training, supply support, technical documentation.
Functionally responsible for the assigned team members for the implementation of ILS projects.
Assists in the further improvement and development of ILS products, processes and methodologies.
Will be the central point of contact for both the customer and the new build project team.
You are responsible for the budget and to deliver the services sold according to contract.
You ensure integration of the various services and formalize internal working methods and processes for assignments and future deliveries of services packages.

Job Qualification & Experience:
Technically strong and have at least a completed Bachelor education in a technical direction.
Process thinker, punctual, commercial and independent.
Empathize with the customer and thereby understand and oversee the commercial process for the delivery of the assignment.
At least 5 years of experience in a commercial business environment in a role with budget responsibility.
Experience in project management and / or knowledge of ILS studies and programs.
The ideal candidate is communicative, a go-getter, analytically strong and has an affinity with technology.
Being familiar with the following principles and studies is a plus:
o Supportability Analysis (SA),
o Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA),
o Maintenance Task Analysis including RCM and LORA,
o Logistic Support Reference Data (LSRD),
o Understanding of system integration and configuration management.
To date, our client has constructed & delivered 40 vessels to the African continent (countries include South Africa, Zanzibar, Angola, Kenya and many more). Vessel types constructed and delivered to date have included offshore patrol vessels, dredgers, tugs, naval craft and supply vessels.
