Job Description:

The Facility Engineer will be required to lead, coordinate, administer and organize project activities in cooperation with/and under the direction of the Manager, aiming at the flawless execution of the project.
The Facility Engineer should develop concept, design efficient layouts, align CFT, prepare SOW for the facilities and lead the project from P.O. to implementation stage.
Work with regional Subject Matter Expertise in critical facilities of sub assembly area / tooling plates/manipulators/conveyors.
Engage with cross-functional teams and with global counterparts, to deliver projects adhering to standards.

Job description / core competencies:

Project lead; coordinate project, resources, equipment and information in line with project scope and definition.
Liaise with contractors to clarify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
Make certain that production rep i.e., maintenance requirements considered from the beginingn of the projects.
Prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budgets.
Monitor and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise byt following BOB.
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.
Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and money spend.
Issue all appropriate legal paperwork.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
Optimization of preventive maintenance jobs based on break down analysis and findings.
Participating in regular core team meetings in line with overall project status and deadlines.
Participation in project completion talks.
Lead, setup and participate in cross-functional team meetings.
Coordination of the final inspection and buy off.

Performance measures/ success criteria:
Meet project delivery deadline. On time completion.
Meet customer requirements and satisfaction using BOB.
Achieve buy off as per outlined objectives.
Ensure project is within allocated budget.
Ensure project is on PM when handing over to production.
Identify issues on current facilities based on breakdowns / lesson learnt and incorporate for future models.
Work on new technology facilities and innovations in respective area.
Any other tasks reasonably required by the manager.

Job Qualification & Experience:

Qualifications and experience:
National diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Automation Technology
Project Management experience
5 Years’ experience in automated plant and project management in the automation portfolio desirable
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and of project management tools
Resilience, flexibility, teamwork, cost awareness.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. Able to elicit cooperation from a variety of resources.
Able to define scope of change requests and work with operation teams to size and plan delivery.
Able to work with a diverse team and adapt communication styles and content to appropriate audiences.
Effective communication skills to mediate disputes and uncover hidden objections or concerns.
Able to anticipate and resolve problems before they happen.
Adaptable to a flexible process structure. Comfortable with a startup, high growth environment where individuals sometimes serve in multiple roles.
