Job Description:

We need a Technician who is experienced in industrial plants (electrical, control & instrumentation (EC&I) work on the site) performing installations, maintenance & fault-finding corrective action activities to support the plant in electrical & instrumentation work.

Requirements: A qualified trade-tested/red seal & experienced with SCADA & PLC

Type: 12-Month Contract

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled & corrective maintenance activities for all EC&I items on site.  A high level of quality installations & workmanship is compulsory.

1. Maintain the P&ID, focused on EC&I.
2. Improve & maintain EC&I-related cables to be labeled, routed & installed to standard.
3. Instrumentation to be inspected, calibrated, serviced, repaired, replaced.
4. EC&I interface to PLC & SCADA systems.
5. Log Job Card Tasks to request PLC & SCADA programming needs
6. Use the OSTicket system as a baseline for Job Cards.  Be clear & precise on each.
7. Review & amend existing maintenance schedule for EC&I
8. Develop & maintain Critical spares lists
9. Develop & maintain Critical tool list
10. Other EC&I relevant tasks
