Job Description:

Our client – an established pharmaceutical company that has been in operation for well over a decade – manufactures, markets, imports and distributes a range of respiratory and skin care products, health supplements and self-monitoring home care devices to the retail/wholesale markets as well as independent pharmacies, the baby sector, and the professional market.

They are looking to employ a Digital Marketer, responsible for driving best practice in campaign management and planning across paid, owned and earned media, ensuring appropriate investment. The candidate will deliver maximum return on media investment. Apply both performance precision with planning insight and continuous optimisation to deliver a truly effective user acquisition programme. The ideal candidate has exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. Expected to be strongly focused and to demonstrate excellence in service delivery and problem-solving, breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items. Self-driven and able to work independently.

Position details:

Key responsibilities:

  • Support with planning and executing digital campaigns on all major digital platforms in the region.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Manage agency relationships with external partners to secure a healthy campaign mix that hits the targets while delivering quality users.
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spending and performance based on the insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Design, Product, Content) to design and implement differentiated and profitable campaigns.

Job Qualification & Experience:

  • More than 2 years on the market with a focus on performance.
  • Knowledge about different Social Marketing, Google Ads, and other ad networks.
  • Google Analytics must be your right hand on each step.
  • Control the performance flow of the campaigns.
  • A background in advertising digital services.
  • Knowledge on funnels flows and measures related to Apps.
  • The interest of improving the products that we are managing or flows of process.
  • Capacity to work with the company’s own and external audiences, retargeting and engagement options and the skill of finding daily opportunities.
  • Strong commercial skills and an ability to manage the relationships with external partners.
  • Project management skills.
  • Microsoft Excel expert.
  • Analytics skills and proactive behaviour.
  • High capacity on found and fix issues from daily basics topics on mobile campaigns.
  • Knowledge about mobile advertising and behaviour of consumers with South Africa.
  • Long-life learning and focus on company goals.
  • Analytical, data-driven, but trust your instincts to move fast.
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Possess the desire to roll up your sleeves, execute, and create scalable processes within a growing company.
  • Self-motivated and will constantly seek out ways to help the company with reach and efficiency.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, good at presenting ideas and discussing solutions.
