Job Description:

In fields such as engine, transmission, vehicle modeling, vehicle design, CAE and test, they have formed independent technologies, standards and intellectual property.

With the mission of developing the national auto industry, they will become a multinational with internationalized brands, globalized markets and modern management methods.

They integrate global technical resources for innovative R & D, own world-class R & D equipment & systems and are currently building a new R & D center in Baoding near Beijing where they plan to expand their current workforce of 1 300 by hiring skilled expatriates.

Position details:

Be part of the New Energy Automotive Powertrain R&D Team as Chief Engineer of the eAD Project, responsible for :

Providing suggestions to ensure GWM develops stably and rapidly in its vehicle development strategy
Contributing to a Strategy Plan for the development of GWM’s Transmission Modules
Organising and executing a leaders’ development strategy to improve technical level and development quality
Technical development and management of the Transmission Research Institute and New drive Energy systems
Concept designs, detail designs, trial productions and testing of the whole development process
Organising and setting up a long term and short term technical development plan for new energy drive systems, applying new technology, new processes, new materials, new tools and new methods
Setting up a product and technical updating programme
Setting the technical direction of quality management
Setting up and implementing a develop plan for implementing new technology and products
Setting up the design and development of new products and a software strategy
Offering interface design requirements
Setting up a product development plan

Completing layout designs

Directing designs and optimising component parameters
Technology knowledge management for future developments

Job Qualification & Experience:

BEng/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
Extensive experience (15 years plus) in AT or CVT in transmissions.
