Job Description:

They integrate global technical resources for innovative R & D, own world-class R & D equipment & systems and are currently building a new R & D center in Baoding near Beijing where they plan to expand their current workforce of 1 300 by hiring skilled expatriates.

Position details:

Job description / core competencies:

Be part of the eAD Project Team responsible for:

  • advising on a rapid and stable vehicle development strategy;
  • advising on company’s Motor Transmission Module;
  • advising on and setting up a short and long term technical development plan for:
    • new energy drive systems;
    • applying new technical direction, technology, new processes, new materials, new tools, new methods;
  • transmission research;
  • new Energy Drive Systems Research;
  • concept design, detail design, trial production and testing; and
  • advising on quality management.

Job Qualification & Experience:

BEng/Diploma in Mechanical, Hydraulics, Machine Design or related disciplines;

Extensive applied experience in the transmission industry, specifically as regards AT and/or CVT;

Proven skills in:

  • teamwork, organising and coordination;
  • problem solving;
  • product/component design;
  • product development;
  • knowledge management and applicable software systems.
