The Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules for the project. This role requires strong analytical skills, scheduling expertise, and industry experience to ensure effective planning, monitoring, and control of project activities to achieve project objectives.

Primary purpose: The Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules for the project. This role requires strong analytical skills, scheduling expertise, and industry experience to ensure effective planning, monitoring, and control of project activities to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Development: Develop detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project plans, incorporating scope, activities, resources, and milestones to support project execution.
Schedule Optimization: Analyze project requirements, constraints, and dependencies, identifying critical paths, resource constraints, and schedule risks, and optimizing schedules to minimize project duration and maximize efficiency.
Resource Allocation: Allocate and level resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to support project activities and maintain schedule integrity.
Schedule Monitoring: Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, tracking actual vs. planned progress, identifying deviations, and assessing schedule impacts.
Schedule Analysis: Conduct schedule analysis and performance measurement, identifying trends, variances, and risks, and providing recommendations to project management for corrective actions.
Change Management: Manage project changes and variations, assessing their impact on project schedules, and implementing change control procedures to maintain schedule accuracy and integrity.
Coordination: Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and integration of schedules with project requirements and objectives.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules, documentation, and reports, providing regular updates to project management and stakeholders on schedule status and performance.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate schedule risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize schedule disruptions and maintain project success.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and best practices to enhance scheduling performance and project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning or scheduling roles, with exposure to marine, civil, infrastructure, EPC, oil & gas, and/or mining projects.
Experience working on large-scale industrial projects is preferred.
Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with proficiency in project scheduling techniques and software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex project data and trends.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
