Manage and Coordinate all activities of the Engineering Business. Develop new projects with frequent client contact, Participate and Review all projects being executed by the group. Engage with project teams on technical issues. Engage with clients as a Project sponsor to resolve any project issues. Responsible for Business P/L. Address all HR matters, office management, payment and receipt of all finances.

What are some of your greatest achievements (When and how have you saved your employers time, money and resources)?

Revised magnetic separator design to improve magnetic field intensity to improve dense media recovery and discharge density.
Producing results for Gold Mining House milling operations at the majority of their African Operations.
Successfully integrated mine to Mill technologies in Process Optimisation strategies.
Successfully implemented an Autogenous Milling Pilot Plant for Debswana Mining Company’s Jwaneng Mine to Mill Kimberlite (Diamondiferous ore). Applied full suite of Process Technology solutions to allow complete control, analysis and reporting of Pilot Plant Operation.
Design and Implementation of first Mine Production Management System within 6 months of developing first version of the platform.
Integrated metallurgical process data into a single platform with mining production data including operating cost across the entire value chain.
Developed basis for Multiplier based rate calculation with incentive schemes for EPCM projects. Rolled out to a global Diversified Mining companies Global EPCM Alliance Program.

Specialist expertise in commination and flotation circuit design and optimisation. Extensive practical global experience in mill and flotation optimisation. Experience in design (mechanical and process), installation and commissioning of Crushers, screens, mills, flotation, filters, dryers, kilns, scrubbers, pelletisers, thermal and pyro processing, leaching, elution unit operations.

Practical experience from global operations and project experience in various areas that include design, commissioning, process optimization, production management and consulting in technology, business and process engineering.
Active involvement in Project and Study Management (conceptual studies to detailed feasibility), contractor and supplier contract negotiations, business plan development and consulting with clients to improve profitability. In depth exposure to Management of Capital Projects from Business Case development to Execution. Initial involvement as a project engineer to Lead Engineer, Study Manager and Project Manager. Experience in establishing all project and technical risks through risk assessments and participation and facilitation of Hazard Studies (HAZOP and HAZID). Develop Project Execution Plans for all levels in the Project Lifecycle ranging from Conceptual (FEL 1) to Detailed Feasibility Studies (FEL3) and Execution. Extensive metallurgical basis through global exposure that has presented key opportunities to develop experience of unit metallurgical operations including Commination, Pelletising, Sintering, Calcining, Roasting, Drying, Cooling, Magnetic Separation, Filtration, Thickening and Dense Media Separation. Valuable expertise in Grinding Mills, Rotary and Vertical Kilns and Fluidized Bed Technologies and in depth involvement in the Design, Installation and commissioning of various process unit operations globally.
Developed key skills in Mine to Mill modelling, Process Optimisation and valuable understanding of Mining Planning, Pit Optimisation, Drill and Blast and Load and Haul Methodologies. Wide ranging experience in Base Metals, Iron Ore, Coal, Diamonds, Rare Earth Elements and extensive experience in Gold.
