Started as a temp at Pearson VUE in the customer call centre where every week I had logged the most incoming calls and solved the most customer complaints. After that I was hand-picked from the call centre for my good work and eventually was offered the Creditor’s Accountant role even though I had had no formal training in accounts apart from bookkeeping.
