1. Process engineering; 2. Plant monitoring; 3. Quality performance
Key achievements:
In order of importance:
(1) Shock Tube plant explosion investigation. Characterisation of HMX/Al behaviour in the factory and provided solution for improved safety,
(2) Conceptualisation, testing, and design, and implementation of best solution for Ammonium Nitrate recovery to provide a high revenue to the company,
(3) Investigation and qualification alternative raw materials (polymer extrusion) to ensure product continuity to the market and reduced cost,
(4) Study of pilot flocculation plant characteristics and design of a scaled up suitable solution in the initiating systems campus.
Salary information: (South African Rand – ZAR) 1.15 mil – 1.3 mil, per annum
