What is the primary purpose of this position?
Dispatch Fleet and Optimize Equipment utilization and usage to bring peak performance in Mining Operations. Keep real-time information on equipment. Update Mining Data in terms of stockpile, dumps and road network. Liaise with Radio Maintenance and IT for Air Wave and Network management system. Analyze and Provide Data to short time and long term Planning, Drill and Blast, and Geology. Upload grade blocks and drill patterns into System. Coordinate activities related to the operations and execution of the Mine Dispatch System. Contribute to the design and development of processes. Ensure continued growth of crews and maximize operational efficiencies and profitability.

Aside the Drill and Blast , Short Term and Dispatch Engineering, my greatest achievements are:
-Won the Best Senior Engineering Staff for the 3rd Quarter at Newmont Gold Corp, Ghana for successfully managing the Entire Dispatch Engineering Team for a period of 3 months with best Mine Production Results; Mined over 100,000 tones a shift.
-Elected Student Representative President at the University in the 2009/2010. Represented Students’ view at the University Council. Was able to solicit funds and bought a Students Bus worth 65,000Ghc

What are the key responsibilities and accountabilities of your ideal position?
Broad range of responsibilities across both planning and production. You will create the short-term plans, mine schedules and communicate these details to the operational mining team utilizing mine planning software and Excel. In addition to the production responsibilities, you will also be given the opportunity to develop long-term mine plans and determine the most effective means of meeting future targets. The Senior Mining Engineer must be a clear communicator who can balance the needs of each department effectively in order to maintain production in a safe and efficient manner.
