I have the ability to engage with people from stakeholder down to field technician in order to understand their challenges and translate it into workable solutions for a multidisciplinary team of engineers, contractors and artisans.
In terms of process engineering, as i’m a very curious person I always start by identifying the root causes of problems and back engineer a specific solution by gathering personal and external knowledge. I’m not afraid of asking questions and reading engineering material such as publications.
Ideal business title:
Leader in water conservation and sustainability.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities of ideal position:
My ideal position would be an advisor to a politician with decision-making power on the water and waste water sector. Taking into account the various issues around water such as localisation of the available resource and quality as well as the localisation of water needs. Asking the questions: How do we manage the optimum service delivery and how do we ensure that we minimise our impact on our environment.
Responsibility and accountability go hand in hand therefore in my opinion the activities I want to be accountable for are as follows:
– Coordinate pre-feasability and feasibility with various stakeholder including affordability ,
– Implementation planning and processes (from design to handover),
– Training and knowledge transfer,
– Operation.

financial KPI.
Career summary:
1 year agricultural development.
11 year water and waste water treatment plants.
Achievements:
Working with my team, manager and colleagues to deliver projects on time and within the allocated budget on a sustainable basis.
It is my belief that great achievements can only be achieved with support from various people – you win as a team and lose as a team.
As a lead on great achievements, knowing that the process was correct and knowing the theoretical duty of equipment, I have managed on several occasions to identify what the issue was on an operational level which made the process not perform at its designed characteristics. These issues can be listed as follow:
– manual operation of equipment by operator as sensor was not working properly
– poor filtration performance because overdosage/poor mixing of chemical products
– high pressure/low flow delivery from pumps due to blockages of piping
– incorrect parameter setting in the PLC
These issues seems to be small but saved my employer the replacement of an equipment (including logistic, lost of production, installation). More importantly is keeps our reputation high.
Strengths:
Varied and extensive experience, able to connect all the dots between mechanical, industrial and technical aspects as well as financial and oversee all aspects of a project. Passionate about water conservation.
What do you absolutely love doing?
Broad problem solving involving multidisciplinary and putting a solution all together.
Transmitting and receiving knowledge.
Ideal company (culture and values):
Governmental Organisation that thrive to deliver drinking water to the population and take care of the waste water generated in a suitable and sustainable manner. Using the best technologies to remedy the lack of water for industrial and agricultural use which will allow economic growth while protecting our environment (making our waste a source of energy, fertiliser and service water)
The values this organisation should possess are:
– Ethics
– Integrity
– Pursual of growth
– Fairness
– Passion and determination
– Humble
