Last year, I had to administer emergency CPR at the hotel with my family having lunch by the pool side and rescued a young boy who looked like he was drowning.

Tell me about a time when you had to get to the root cause of a problem to make a decision.

First thing to look when a conflict arises is the source of conflict, after knowing the source of conflict, I look at the alternative solutions to resolve the conflict by collaborating where all parties are happy, try to find a win-win situation first. After showing the alternative solutions, I guide people to rethink about the conflict, expecting consensus.

What are the three things that are most important to you in a job?

Growth Opportunities

Trusts between employees and the leadership team

Job Security

What are your strengths?

Disciplined result-driven and analytical thinker, attention to detail and approaching problems in a systematic way. When I am working on a project or task, I always keep in mind that “what is the expected result?” Sometimes, if you forget what you are trying to achieve, you can deviate from your targets. Therefore, keeping in mind the expected results help me to focus on what needs to be done.

What are your weaknesses (e.g. most important blind spots / developmental needs identified)?

Problem with delegating work because I believed only I could produce the best quality of work. However, I found myself overwhelmed by the amount of work which then affected the quality of my work. I managed to attain training in project management and time management hence I am able to trust my co-workers more and delegate more which has greatly improved the quality of my work.
