Key Account Manager
1. Primary purpose of current/most recent position:
Entails the complete sales management cycle and scheduling of all activities required to engage with existing clients and acquisition of new clients: Relationship Management, Presentations, Sales Cycle Management, Proposal generation, working with partners, Sales Targets, Quality, Contracts and Logistics. Developing long-term relationships portfolio of assigned customers and connecting key business executives and stakeholders.

Ensure customer metrics are achieved through negotiation and delivery of regional element both local and abroad clients Clientele base – 50% clients are local and 50% abroad ( USA, Germany, Australia and Spain) Drive Service levels and customer demands by working close with customers Manage customer expectations. Responsible to quote, propose, customer tenders, customer contracts, negotiate and close off jobs at qualified margins Deliver on Accounts – Must Win Battles Attitude – Execute pricing strategy in accounts. Cross functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of all orders according to the VOC. Customer Forecast and track key account metrics Customer Visits (40% travel) and Project updates. Identify and grow opportunities within client’s base through account planning. Making technical recommendations to clients in the knowledge fields of metallurgy and mechanical engine. Achieve On-Time Delivery Demand Planning and S&OP process in-conjunction with the Production and Supply Chain Department. Provide guidelines to direct reports defining the impact of change and any new resulting requirements Manage Health and Safety for area of responsibility. Manage customer queries. Quality control of deliverables going out to customers Strategic and growth focused interaction with clients.
