-Laboratory management: Manage the lab from receiving the samples to capturing the results and sending out the reports to internal and external clients.

-Ensure Quality assurance and control of the lab

An ambitious Microbiologist who has matured in the field of Biotechnology for 8.5 years. I’ve developed a mature and responsible approach to every task and situation in my career, academics and personal life. I adapt easily into new sectors as I have working experiences in Nutrigenomics, Human genetics, Plant pathology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Entomology, Project Management, Fish farming and Events Planning. Molecular lab techniques (Real time PCR using LightCycler 480 and 96, DNA extraction using MagNA Pure Compact, PCR thermal cycler, AFLP, RFLP, sequencing, culturing and media preparation), ISO 9001, ISO 17025, Supervision and staff training, lab management (SOP documentation, purchase orders, stock taking, report writing, waste, finance).

I love working with numbers ( finances of the lab), compilation of documents and research (new inventions), training new and younger upcoming scientists
