Develop, monitor and control, and report progress on master schedules for all capital projects in the department.
Develop basis of schedule and schedule management plans for projects.
Determine time estimates for different phases of the project.
Evaluate tender submissions in ability to perform contract work.
Claims administration and project risk analysis.

2. Core elements or functions that must operate effectively in order to achieve primary purpose:

Be able to utilize, in an advanced manner, MS office suite including MS Projects. Develop master schedules and ensure quality of contractors execution schedules and monitor construction activities and foresee impacts to the critical path. Project cost management and claims administration.

I am person who is strategic, who looks at the bigger picture, and this allows me to identify risks and subsequently manage them. 8. Achievements: 

I managed a project which included a refurbishment of an ore-pass, replacement of a boxfront, a feeder and 2 discharge chutes. The record for production was 4500tons per hour on the cable belt before the project and after completing the project, the output was above 7500tons per hour continuously.
I managed my first mine project successfully at age 20.
Managed Murray & Roberts in a R100M mining development project when I was 24 years old and it was 50% complete in cost and 40% complete with physical progress.

9. What do you absolutely love doing?

Providing leadership to the project team. Identifying and controlling risks on a continual basis. Doing schedule and cost control to assist project delivery. Meeting deadlines and helping others grow by sharing knowledge.
