Appointed as Director of Drilling Technical Services providing technical support to the group of services am responsible for all group engineering functions and report to the Technical Director.

I have the following offices under my direct control:

  • Project Office; executing R&D, product development and engineering designs for the drilling business worldwide.
  • Drawing Office; responsible for all engineering drawings and standards for the Group
  • Product Support Office; responsible for engineering and operational support to MD Business Units worldwide.
  • CIC Office; responsible for all electronic engineering services and software application development. R&D forms a major part of this office’s functions.

Results-driven Professional Engineer with extensive experience in maintenance-, design- and project engineering and also in project-, engineering-, construction and general management. In-depth experience of cross-discipline engineering design and management. Well-read and -traveled with broad international exposure. Sound knowledge of different project management frameworks and methodologies – both from a client and a service provider perspective. High level systems thinker with an affinity for identifying relationships and developing models of operation; this skill was readily honed during post-graduate studies. Leadership and management skills guided by strategic vision, whilst firmly grounded in reality.
